In 2020, Valley Vista was one of the best-selling communities in both the United States and Southern Nevada.     DR Horton and Lennar are both building brand new residential properties in this master planned community. Buyers can customize their new home with upgrades, including choosing a premium lot. There are also a handful of move-in ready (or spec homes) to choose from. These homes have been built with popular options but cannot be fully customized. While inventory is low, these 2 construction companies are consistently building and expanding their options. The final option is purchasing a resale that is listed on this page.

    DR Horton

    An established brand in Southern Nevada, DR Horton homes are known for their design and quality. In Valley Vista they have a total of 11 communities including Alpha, Altair, Capella, Gemini, Luna, Mira, Omega, Orion, Rigel, Tucana, and Vela Pointe. Within each neighborhood there are 3-7 unique floor plans. Residents have a wide variety of housing options including single and 2 story houses, townhomes, and condos. As of January 2021, Altair Pointe is sold out and Vela Pointe has a new phase under construction. Current prices start at $233,990 for 1,210 SF at Tucana Pointe.

    Lennar

    Lennar is known for including a variety of standard features in the homes they build. Of course, each property can be upgraded to match your style and specifications. Homeowners can choose from 17 floor plans across the Roxbury, Granbury, and Queensbury neighborhoods. The Roxbury neighborhood amenities include a gated entrance, park and swimming pool. Current prices start at $252,000 for the 2 bedroom and 2.5-bathroom Orissa floor plan. The largest house, the Liberty Next Gen, includes a multi-family “home within a home” - a private suite with a private entrance on the first floor. Virtual and in-person tours of every home can be scheduled.

    Most Affordable New Home

    The Bartlett floor plan at Roxbury by Lennar is the least expensive home for sale. This townhome features an attached 2 car garage on the first floor. Once inside, there is a storage closet and private entrance to the residence. The second floor has 2 distinct areas – the open concept living room / kitchen and the bedrooms / bathrooms. The second story deck has 2 separate sliding doors that further expands the living space.

    The 4425 Plan at Orion Pointe by DR Horton is the highest priced property the Valley Vista master planned community. Starting at $562,000, this 2 story house has 6 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and 3 car garage. The guest house is located on the first floor and is truly a separate suite. In addition to the bedroom and bathroom, other features include a private living room, kitchenette, and washing machine / dryer set.
