McCullough Hills Real Estate

McCullough Hills is known for large family homes, luxury apartments, and great freeway access. The area begins at the intersection of S. Stephanie Street and I-215. It extends to I-11 in the east and borders Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area to the south. To the west are the communities of MacDonald Ranch and Highlands. It is also home to 2 public parks. The Reunion Trails Park is equipped with a splash pad, playgrounds, and a rock-climbing area. There are also large green spaces and an outdoor basketball court. At the Acacia Park is another playground, a baseball field, soccer fields, and a botanical garden. Miles of highly rated trails can be found in the south section of the community. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy all McCullough Hills has to offer. This area of Henderson, NV continues to grow with the construction of new houses.

Homes for Sale

DR Horton is building a new neighborhood in McCullough Hills named Auroras Edge. These modern 2 story homes have a roof top deck that can be configured 3 ways. The 3420 model has a 3-car garage, 4 bedrooms, and 5 bathrooms. Large courtyards, private casitas, and balconies for every upstairs bedroom help make these houses highly sought after. The majority of homes for sale are large two-story houses between 2,200 and 2,900 square feet. Popular options include pools, large lots, gated neighborhoods, and proximity to parks. 1 story houses are the next most in-demand option. These will generally be 3 bedroom and 2-bathroom units. McCullough Hills also has unique architecture such as 3 story townhouses w/ panoramic roof top decks. There are also 1-3 bedroom condos available at the Big Horn at Black Mountain complex.

Homes for Rent

McCullough Hills has a very small inventory of rental homes. For the past several years this number is constantly less than 20 available. In this segment, 2 story houses are the most readily available. The most expensive house for rent is fully furnished with 5 bedrooms. The 3,539 square foot home is on the market at $3,300 per month. In contrast, the least expensive option for home rentals is a single bedroom condo at $995 per month. However, there is only 1 of these units currently available. Apartments remain the most popular and readily available rental option with more than 10 complexes. The neighboring communities of Black Mountain and Gibson Springs offer rental homes in the same price range as McCullough Hills. Between these 3 areas, a wide variety of houses, townhomes, and condos can be found.


The Vantage Lofts are a collection of luxury apartments in McCullough Hills. Potential renters can tour the community, however, they will not be able to walk through the units. On-site representatives can provide virtual tours of the 24 floor plans. The largest of these units is Loft-E at 3,133 square feet. Currently the monthly rate starts at $4,589 for this two-story home. Other luxurious apartment complexes include ONE60, 80 On Gibson, Imagine, Elevate, and The View at Horizon Ridge. Prices for these luxury homes are far more affordable and start under $1,000 per month. The Portofino Senior Apartments are the only age restricted apartments within McCullough Hills. Amenities in this neighborhood include a fitness center, on-site salon, and community garden. This 55+ community has 1 and 2 bedroom units that range between $338-$873 per month.

Vacation Rentals

Both private rooms and casitas are the most popular vacation rentals in this community. For example, a casita can be found for $45 per night. A keypad on the door allows guests to check themselves in with a pre-supplied code from the host. This entirely self-contained unit has its own full bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, and computer desk. A thermostat in the room gives visitors full control over the temperature. At this time there are no condos or townhomes that available for short term rental. There is only 1 private house in McCullough Hills. The 7-bedroom, 4.5 bathroom vacation rental sleeps at least 16 guests. It features a large kitchen with island and double ovens. There are multiple areas to gather, watch television, or play board games. The rate of this large family home is $150 per night. An incredible value for a group visiting Henderson, NV.
